Guided Tatacoa Desert day trip from Neiva, with Red and Gray Desert hikes, lunch, desert swim, Magdalena River boat ride, and stargazing.

“it was incredible. only myself, a German guy and a Colombian woman but we all got along really well. there's so much value for money AND we even opted out of things. We came for the deserts which didn't disappoint but also the surprise boat ride on the river really broke up the day. I can't recommend this enough!!”

Cartagena: Rosario Island and Mangroves Private Day Trip

Cartagena: Rosario Island and Mangroves Private Day Trip - Getting out of Cartagena: the pickup and the Barú drive

4.Cartagena: Rosario Island and Mangroves Private Day Trip

★★★★★★★★★★4.9 · 73 reviews · 9 hours · from $244

Private day trip from Cartagena to Rosario Islands and Barú, with mangrove boat ride, snorkeling, and homemade breakfast and lunch.

“The trip is a delightful way to experience both the country outside of Cartagena and the Rosario islands. Be warned you have some lovely time on the beach and in the water snorkeling but it is not nearly enough! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife (including fish), history of the area, and flexible to what we want. We ate local meals in a local home and had a place to wash off afterwards. Conditions at the home that serves as a base are primitive but authentic and sanitary. Great communication to make sure our questions were answered before the trip.”

★★★★★★★★★★3.7 · 67 reviews · 8 hours · from $26Best value

Cartagena day trip to Barú Island and Playa Tranquila with hotel pickup, lunch, and beach time. Early start, extra costs possible.

6.Playa Blanca Full-Day Trip from Cartagena

★★★★★★★★★★4.6 · 48 reviews · from $63

A 7-hour Cartagena day trip to Playa Blanca with panoramic island views, Barú beach time, and a satisfying typical lunch for $63.

“Playa Blanca was well worth the trip for a day on the white sand beach with blue water. We were picked up from hotel, stopped at grocery store and then to the beach. We were them taken by boat to a spot further down the beach which was nice because this is a very crowded beach. The further you go down, there are less people. We went on a Tuesday. I can’t imagine how packed it would be on a weekend. The tour included a shaded upright chair but you can rent lounge chairs for good price which we did. Lunch was really good grilled red snapper which is included.…”

Medellín adventure day: Colombia's 1400m zipline, 150m hammocks, and a hike to El Salto del Buey waterfall.

“Me and my family had an amazing experience thanks to Diego and the rest of the team! Diego, the tour guide, was very kind and punctual and did a great job of showing and advising us different things on the way to the mountains and on site too. There are amazing views of the mountains, waterfall, farms and plantations. Beautiful experience of laying in the hammocks on heights with a view on the mountains and waterfalls, ziplines, hikings and waterfalls were very fascinating! We had a lot of fun and it was a day full of nice emotions! Massive thank you to the whole team and Diego personally! We enjoyed…”
