“Everything went smoothly. The lines at the port to get our arm bands for entry were somewhat long. All the staff was great. The water was clear and pretty. We could see baby fish! The food was just okay but it was included in the ticket price so no big deal. All the waiters were friendly and catered to us. The bathrooms at the beach club were surprisingly clean. We got a very warm welcome. All was good. I’d definitely go back.”

“Awful company. Stay away from them if possible. Their advertisement features a “comfortable air-conditioned transportation ” and it is actually an old van very unsafe. The expected pickup time was 6:30 am and they only showed up at 7:15am (45 minutes waiting for them). On the way we had to stop in the middle of the road to change to another van to go to the final destination. On the way back, we supposed to be back in Cartagena by 2:30 and we got back around 6pm. Other than the traffic, the reason for the delay was because our old-unsafe van, crashed against a tree and broke the windshield. Please…”

“The 5 island tour was a great introduction to Colombia. It felt a little rushed though. We signed up for the plankton beach experience however we didn’t realized that once we reached the last island we would have to wait until night time which for us was a 5 hour wait. It seem to long to be outside in the sun considering we started the tour around 9am or so. But overall great tour and tour guide. The sellers on this tour were a little aggressive. Be mindful of your things they all come at you at the same time and you can easily become a victim of theft if…”

We were instructed to be there at 7:45, however, they didn’t arrive until after 8 and we did not leave until 8:20. The Mambo Club is somewhat rundown. The only items that are included under 30,000 are the typical fish, chicken, and fried rice. Any specialty items are way overpriced - anywhere between 50 to 90,000 pesos. The ballaniese beach beds are also 120 pesos. “My family and I really enjoyed the water, however, please be aware that people selling items on the beach can be very persistent if you entertain them. The food was okay, nothing to really rave about. The walk heading down to the beach can be a bit much for those who have issues going up and down steps and the ride to and from the beach is about 1hr30min more or less depending on traffic. I suggest planning accordingly if you plan on doing something afterwards.”

“It was a great trip! We hiked thru jungles, took a break and swam near the beautiful waterfall, then we went to the coffee farm, saw how the coffee was made tasted a delicious coffee and coffee liquor, we also saw toucans there, it was beautiful! Then we hiked a bit more thru the jungles to a restaurant where we had the delicious meal with live music. After we learned about chocolate and made our own chocolates! The whole trip was really fun and good value for money! Definitely recommend to take this tour, you’ll not regret it!”
