★★★★★★★★★★3.8 · 131 reviews · 11 hours · from $77Our pick

A guided day trip from Santa Marta to Tayrona National Park, with a 4-hour forest hike, Cabo San Juan swim, and a viewpoint.

★★★★★★★★★★4.8 · 14 reviews · 5 hours · from $83

Aviary National Park tour from Cartagena with hotel pickup, air-conditioned transport, and entry ticket to see Colombia’s birds up close.

“We really enjoyed our day trip to the National Aviary. Private air conditioned car and friendly driver drove us the hour to/from the Aviary with pre-purchased tickets. Plan for 2-3 hours walking through the well-marked path. Take a photo of the map at the beginning - there were no handouts or maps along the way. Bring bug repellent so you don't have to buy it there. While pricey, it was nice to have reliable, no-hassle transportation to and from this fascinating aviary.”
